At Wahlch, we believe that when you invest in a premium, heirloom-quality surface for your home, you deserve complete transparency about its origins.

Supply Chain Verification & Timber Heritage

Because our store operates on a 100% paperless fulfillment model to minimize environmental waste, we do not pack commercial timber documents or physical invoices inside our shipping boxes. Instead, we maintain strict, publicly verifiable digital chain-of-custody records for every board we craft.

Below is the certified heritage of your Wahlch cutting board.

I. The Timber Source

Every board we build is crafted exclusively from 100% genuine American Black Walnut or Cherry. We do not use substitute species. Our raw timber is harvested and milled in the United States by suppliers committed to responsible forestry.

II. Hand-Selection & Craftsmanship

To achieve our signature grain symmetry and visual depth, our craftsmen must be able to physically hand-select the widest and most striking planks. This level of manual sorting is achieved through our certified dealership in India, located near our dedicated family workshop.

III. Reforestation Commitment

Because our timber is American, we plant back in America. We do not use symbolic carbon offsets. A portion of every sale structurally funds U.S. forest restoration.

Partner: National Forest Foundation (NFF)

Impact: 5 trees planted in U.S. National Forests for every board sold.

Verification: Direct donations are structurally batched and submitted directly to the NFF portal.

This master page serves as the public verification for our entire commercial supply chain. However, if you are a collector and would like a custom Certificate of Authenticity generated specifically for your individual board's order number, we are happy to provide one.
