Wahlch is an Australian Proprietary Company that bridges my professional background on the shopfloors of large global manufacturing units with a family timber legacy dating back to 1965. We have replaced traditional manufacturing guesswork with rigorous engineering to create the world’s most durable and hygienic culinary surfaces.

The India Advantage: Unprecedented Access

While we source 100% of our timber from FAS-grade American Black Walnut and Cherry mills in Missouri, the "secret" to our aesthetic is our unique procurement model.

  • The Global Pipeline: We utilize FSC-certified dealerships in India that specialize in prime Missouri timber.

  • The Selection Privilege: Because of our family’s deep-rooted industry relationships in India since 1965, we are granted the rare ability to hand-select planks directly at the dealership.

  • Grain Mastery: We physically sort through thousands of board-feet to find the widest, most symmetrical grain patterns. This level of manual, meticulous selection is simply not possible in standard US or Australian high-volume facilities where "picking" through stacks is not commercially feasible. 

Technical Innovation: The "Bio-Secure" Standard

We apply industrial engineering to solve the structural and hygienic flaws inherent in natural timber:

  • Vacuum Drying: We utilize advanced vacuum-kiln technology to ensure maximum stability and moisture control before any fabrication begins.

  • Bio-Secure System: We spcialize in the application of well proven technology to create antibactieral timber surfaces that set the standard in food safety. Biosecure Care was launched in July 2026.

  • Mechanical Reinforcement: We are the only maker to internally compress our end-grain boards using hidden 316 Marine Grade stainless steel screws. This prevents glue-joint fatigue even after hundreds of moisture cycles.

World-Class Logistics: Order to Doorstep in 2-4 Weeks

Our supply chain is built for a direct-to-consumer (B2C) world. By bypassing traditional third-party warehousing, we control the entire journey from our workshop floor to your kitchen.

  • Global Speed: We maintain a 2-4 week delivery window from the moment an order is placed to the doorstep in the USA or Australia.

  • Serialized Traceability: Every Wahlch board is issued a unique serial number, providing 100% verifiable traceability back to the specific FSC-certified Missouri mill.

Customer Experience

We have created a seamless digital customer experience which surpasses local buying. Prices are all inclusive, nothing more to pay. And delivery is faster than similar products locally which are usually made to order and have nowhere near the quality of Wahlch.  We claim to create "Kitchen Art" and live up to the proposition that a Wahlch Board will compete for prominence with anything you have in the kitchen.
